St Ronans News Letter January 18

Trixie’s Blog

Activities: We have had a fabulous time here at St Ronans. Many joyful activities singing and dancing and joining in with our own percussion band instruments has been such fun. Most of the residents made their own Christmas hats with dear Meg and me, they are thrilled with the outcome.

Bob our vicar came to give a special Christmas Communion and singing carols and Wendy came with her usual joyous self to give individual blessings.

For the weekly picnic trips in December to the beach we have had two lots of fish and chips, an absolute favourite.

Snow White at The Kings Theatre for five of our residents was an enormous success and such fun

The Fashion Show and homemade tea party last week was delightful. Just for the residents to look at beautiful clothes, try them on and choose themselves gave a huge boost and they looked gorgeous. We look forward to another one in spring.

Fundraising: Our posh tea party raised £80 for the Macmillan Nurses. So many thanks for

everyone’s very kind support.

Feedback: Please continue to write the feedback and pop them into the box into Matron’s wooden box in the lobby where you sign in.

My love, warm hugs and many blessings to you all for your Amazing support and cheery smiles here at St Ronans. It means such a lot to us all.
