St Ronans News Letter January 19

Trixie’s Blog

Christmas now over and what a lovely fun packed time we’ve had at St Ronans. Father Christmas came to give out presents and sang beautifully for an hour – he was a star - so many thank you’s to dear Mike and we loved him. X

Pantomime posh tea parties and a very successful homemade cake sale to boost our residents fund... Thank you so much to Relatives, Friends and our super Staff for all your support.

Our weekly bus trips out still continue with great relish and are much enjoyed especially when we have fish and chips as a change from our usual but wonderful picnic!

Our vicar, Bob from St. Simon’s church still comes in regularly to give communion and Wendy also from St. Simon’s comes to give individual blessings to the residents ~ they love that.

With the weather still warm, our spring bulbs will be popping up soon for all to enjoy and after all the rain just lately I need to get out into the garden to prune and tidy just in case we get snow!

Huge thank you’s for your continuous and loving support – it means so much to all of us at St Ronans.

Please continue to write feedback forms and pop them into Matron’s brown box in the lobby where you sign in.

Wishing You all a happy, peaceful and healthy New Year.

With my love and blessings

From Trixie

CQC Inspection

Our latest CQC report states that some areas require improvement.

Our report can be found by following the CQC link on our website

As you know, at St Ronans, we believe in constant improvement.  Mistakes and lapses happen to us all, sometimes when under scrutiny – so be it, and we are mortified. But, we have already taken action to remedy the issues highlighted in the report. We are still the home you love and trust, and believe we are even better now. Please contact us to see what we have achieved.
