St Ronans News Letter July 19

Trixie’s Blog

We are having a gorgeous and glorious spell of sunshine allowing our residents to enjoy our lovely garden and smell the roses which are particularly beautiful at this time.

Yesterday we had our home made cake sale with an enormous selection of yummy delights! Thank you so much to our amazing staff and relatives for supporting this delicious event which enabled us to collect over £120 for our residents fund. I started today by treating our residents out on our Thursday bus trip to fish and chips on the beach overlooking Hayling Island~It was gorgeous.

We had great fun on ladies day at Ascot by wearing posh hats and fascinators~the men wore top hats.

We had a special little “Danish Pastry” tea served on silver trays with ginger beer lemonade or tea!

Wimbledon is coming up so a special event for that will take place too and will be advertised on the lobby door. Come and join us for strawberries and cream!

Thank you as always to lovely Bob our Vicar from St Simons church who comes along for our individual blessings and communions and support us so wonderfully.

Many thanks to all our dear families and friends for all your loving support and encouragement it means a great deal to us here at St Ronans.

Please continue to write feedback forms and pop them into Matron’s brown box in the lobby where you sign in.

We will have BBQS in our lovely garden during the summer~ dates to be posted on the lobby door~ do come if you can.

With my love and blessings

Trixie xxx

CQC Inspection

Our latest CQC report states that some areas require improvement.

Our report can be found by following the CQC link on our website www.st-ronans.co.uk

As you know, at St Ronans, we believe in constant improvement.  Mistakes and lapses happen to us all, sometimes when under scrutiny – so be it, and we are mortified. But, we have already taken action to remedy the issues highlighted in the report. We are still the home you love and trust, and believe we are even better now. Please contact us to see what we have achieved.
