St Ronans News Letter May 18

Trixie’s Blog

Too much rain, but now warm sunshine. Glorious and the sun always seems to shine every Thursday for our bus trip out and picnic on the beach. Hurrah!

On Thursday 15th May we have our Spring Homemade cake sale, a wonderful yummy selection so please come and support us. All money goes into our Resident’s fund for fish and chips on our bus outings which everyone loves, theatre trips, posh tea parties etc; all to make our Resident’s daily lives a little more exciting and special.

Kaye our wonderful hairdresser has now retired and moved to Wales. We miss her and wish her well. We have a new hairdresser, Leah who comes in every Monday and Wednesday so all Residents are looking lovely with her friendly expertise.

At the end of April we had our Spring Fashion Show and homemade Tea Party, a great success where our Residents could try on and choose their own clothes with such joy. Such a lovely afternoon.

Lovely Bob, our retired Vicar from St Simons continues every few weeks to give Residents communion which they love and Wendy for individual blessings.

Much work needs to be done now as spring is here in our garden, but it will soon be ready and beautiful for early summer, BBQs hopefully!

Please continue to write feedback forms and pop them into Matron’s wooden box in the lobby where you sign in.

Warmest hugs and love for your cheery support, it means so much
