St Ronans News Letter November 18

Trixie’s Blog

What an amazing and gorgeous autumn....we are planting our winter pansies and cyclamens so we are pretty for the winter...The planting of daffodils and tulips about to begin!

Our weekly bus trips out continue for a picnic lunch or fish and chips, sitting in the bus on the beach at Eastney looking over the sea to Hayling Island ~ Magical.

On Tuesday 4th December I have a homemade cake sale and amazing plants for sale ~ do come and have a cup of tea/coffee and a natter supporting our St Ronans fund for Theatre trips out and some amazing activities ~ it’s always such a pleasure to see you and catch up on all news.

Bob and Wendy come regularly from St. Simon’s church for our communions and individual blessings – our residents love them.

We have some lovely Christmas shows and activities from December and going into January – so do come and join us to sing and clap – enjoying tea and cake also!

Please continue to write feedback forms and pop them into matron’s brown box in the lobby where you sign in.

Thank you for all your continuing and loving support.

With warmest hugs and blessings from,

Trixie

xxxx

P.S: Father Christmas will be here on Christmas day @ 11:00am to give out presents and to sing - Do join us.

CQC Inspection

Our latest CQC report states that some areas require improvement.

Our report can be found by following the CQC link on our website www.st-ronans.co.uk

As you know, at St Ronans, we believe in constant improvement.  Mistakes and lapses happen to us all, sometimes when under scrutiny – so be it, and we are mortified. But, we have already taken action to remedy the issues they highlighted. We are still the home you love and trust, and believe we are even better now.
