St Ronans News Letter September 18

Trixie’s Blog

September promises to be an Indian summer so they say ~ how wonderful – we will have to squeeze in as many BBQ’s as possible before winter sets in!

On Tuesday 25th September, we have our Macmillan coffer morning from 10.30am – do come and support us joining in with a tea or coffee and homemade cakes for sale too!

It will be lovely to see you and have a good catch up.

Our weekly bus trips continue to bring joy as we park our bus on the beach overlooking Hayling Island enjoying our picnic or fish and chips finishing off with a choc ice in Old Portsmouth.

Many thanks to Bob from St Simon’s Church for continuing our communion meetings which are loved by many residents and Wendy too for her wonderful blessings individually.

Our next Homemade cake sale will be early October and the date will be put up on the door in the lobby where you come to sign in ~ there will be a plant sale too!

Please continue to write feedback forms and pop them into Matron’s wooden box also in the lobby where you sign in.

Thank you for your continuing and loving support which means so much to St Ronans.

With my love and blessings, Trixie xxxx

 CQC Inspection

Our latest CQC report states that some areas require improvement.

Our report can be found by following the CQC link on our website www.st-ronans.co.uk

As you know, at St Ronans, we believe in constant improvement.  Mistakes and lapses happen to us all, sometimes when under scrutiny – so be it, and we are mortified. But, we have already taken action to remedy the issues they highlighted. We are still the home you love and trust, and believe we are even better now. Please contact us to see what we have achieved.
