St Ronans News Letter November 17
Trixie’s Blog
Garden: Beautiful weather at the moment for autumn and our lovely windswept garden at St Ronans is now all pruned, snipped, swept and ready for Spring! On a sunny day it’s still a joy to sit out there in Martins Arbour, so please still visit and take a hot cup of something with you xxx
Activities: Our weekly bus trips out to the beach for our picnics or fish and chips are such a joy and much enjoyed by the Residents. Bob and Wendy continue with our Pastoral Care, Communion and individual blessings and are such a lovely part of St Ronans. We have an amazing array of singers, musicians, animals, craft, harps and entertainers most days. We are so lucky at St Ronans to have this opportunity for our residents. They love it all and it makes such a difference to their day.
Our Christmas activities are very special including a trip to the Kings Theatre for the Snow White Panto.
Fundraising: Last week we had a very successful and happy Posh Tea Party for the Macmillan Nurses. Families, friends and Residents enjoy our cream tea and a good laugh and natter! I will put the total raised on our lobby door next week, still counting.
A Christmas Posh Tea Party is coming up. Will let you know the date. Do join us if you can.
Feedback: Please continue to write the feedback and pop them into the box into Matron’s wooden box in the lobby where you sign in.
Blessings and love to you all for your cheery smiles and on-going support, which means the world to us all.
From Trixie
