COVID 19 INFORMATION

The health, safety and well-being of our residents and staff has always been St Ronans’ top priority. We are managing the risks of Covid-19 in a number of different ways:

Ensuring safety

  • Working in partnership, and in an open and transparent way, with the CQC, PHE, local authority, CCG and all other stakeholders – seeking their input to ensure our infection control procedures are of the highest possible standard.
  • Our CQC ‘Emergency Support Framework’ review, conducted on the 17th June 2020 was very positive and described our procedures as “robust”. CQC visited us on 25th January 2021 to carry out an infection prevention and control inspection; they found us to be “assured” in all areas.
  • We invited the Portsmouth NHS infection control team to conduct a thorough audit of our service on 8th January 2021 – they commended us on our practice.
  • We’re welcoming new residents to our home via a safe admissions policy.

Testing:

  • Staff and residents are regularly tested for Covid-19.

Visiting:

  • Family and friends can visit and keep connected with their loved ones in a variety of different ways including in-person visits, virtual visits, or make use of our visiting pod.

If you have any questions about our COVID policy please don’t hesitate to contact us.
